International Conference on Building Climate and Disaster Resilience in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS)

On the morning of September 10th, the 6th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Environment Ministers’ Meeting (EMM6) was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, co-organized by Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment and the Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Under the framework of the meeting and under the theme "International Conference on Climate Action and the Sustainable Development Program Phases I-III (2006-2024) in the GMS". 

The panel discussion focused on key topics, including:
- Analyze and address the critical challenges related to climate adaptation and disaster resilience in the GMS region.
- Identify key priorities, outline gaps and discuss on potential future developments in the GMS to address these gaps
- Recommend strategies and priorities for regional collaboration mechanisms aimed at enhancing climate resilience and disaster risk management, establishing key pathways for sustainable development in the GMS.

With extensive experience in climate consulting and innovation, Dr. Nam Nguyen, representing KLINOVA, had the honor of participating in the panel discussion on "Building Climate And Disaster Resilience”LINOVA is honored to contribute its insights and expertise on building sustainable climate resilience in response to extreme weather events. This panel discussion also presented a valuable opportunity for us to listen to and engage with leading regional and international experts and partners, as we work towards developing a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable environment in GMS.
