The meeting discussed the 2025 work plan, aimed at promoting and implementing sustainability disclosures in ASEAN. The working group’s key tasks include refining materiality for disclosures, starting with industry value chain with most emissions; collecting country-specific data; providing subsidized support for capacity building to upskill mid-to-small-tier companies; establishing a centralized data repository; and standardizing methodologies.
In 2025, the working group aims to develop a sustainability disclosure guidance document for ASEAN. Starting in February, the roadmap will be carried out in four phases: preparation and alignment; data collection and drafting; refinement and iteration; finalization and publication. The finalized guidance document will be presented to ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) in September 2025.
