In recent years, Vietnamese businesses have been extensively integrated in the international market. However, in light of the global green transition, especially in such major markets as Europe and the US, Vietnamese companies need to rapidly adapt to and meet sustainability standards.
Amid this context, on August 14th, the USAID Improving Private Sector Competitiveness (USAID IPSC) project and the Department of Planning and Investment of Can Tho Province jointly organized a workshop themed “Supporting Sustainable Business Practices to Create New Competitive Advantages.” The workshop featured representatives from relevant departments, business associations, organizations, and interested parties from the Southern region, particularly the Mekong Delta of Vietnam.
Our KLINOVA expert, Dr. Nam Nguyen, participated as speakers to share his valuable insights on sustainable development, including:
– Updates on Decision 167/QD-TTg 2022 approving the 2022-2025 Program on Support for private enterprises in sustainable business issued by Vietnam’s Prime Minister;
– The context of sustainable business in Vietnam and globally;
– Experiences in implementing sustainable development models and ESG practices.
The workshop provided a platform for businesses in Can Tho and the Southern region to outline strategic directions for leveraging sustainable development trends to gain competitive advantages. KLINOVA is honored to contribute our expertise on sustainable development to this workshop and is committed to supporting Vietnamese businesses on their journey towards sustainability.
