Starting from May 7, 2024, a training program on climate-related information disclosure was officially launched to update the Vietnamese business community with the latest professional expertise. The program aimed to help enterprises grasp the compatibility between GRI standards and ISSB standards (IFRS S1, S2).
The training sessions focused deeply on governance, strategy, and risk management from a climate perspective. As sustainability reporting regulations become increasingly stringent, understanding the operation of international standard frameworks is a prerequisite for businesses to transparently manage data and strengthen trust with stakeholders in the global financial market.

The training program provided a detailed roadmap from context identification to practical implementation, notably featuring an in-depth analysis of double materiality through a climate lens. Participants explored materiality mapping methods, value chain management, and the development of mitigation and transition plans tailored to operational realities. Integrating quantitative factors and target data according to IFRS S2 standards not only supports legal compliance but also helps businesses identify core risks and long-term sustainable development opportunities early on.

Representing KLINOVA Climate Innovation Services & Consulting JSC., Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hue – Project Director attended all training sessions. The presence of Ms. Hue and KLINOVA's team of experts at the event aimed to update the latest technical reporting guidelines, thereby enhancing the capacity to support corporate partners in conducting greenhouse gas inventories and preparing ESG reports. By mastering the essential requirements of GRI 102 and IFRS, KLINOVA continues to affirm its role as a professional consultancy, ready to accompany businesses in standardizing information and realizing their sustainable green development roadmaps.
