The 5th Friendship Cycling Journey for a Green Hanoi: Spreading the spirit of green living and international friendship

On the morning of November 29, at the Hoan Kiem Lake area, the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports and the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward, organized the 5th Friendship Cycling Journey for a Green Hanoi. The event attracted more than 300 domestic and international delegates, creating a highlight for friendship exchange activities and the promotion of the city’s image.
Attending the program included Mr. Vu Dang Dinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky, Chairman of HAUFO, along with representatives from departments, sectors, and students of the capital city. From the international side, the event welcomed Palestinian Ambassador Saadi Salama, Head of the Diplomatic Corps; Canadian Ambassador Jim Nickel; Nicaraguan Ambassador Mario Jose Armengol Campos; Lao Deputy Ambassador Latana Siharaj; as well as representatives from the Embassies of Russia, Indonesia, Venezuela, and international organizations in Vietnam.

The program also included the participation of KLINOVA, demonstrating the company's sense of social responsibility in accompanying the capital city in building a green lifestyle and promoting sustainable development. The presence of KLINOVA reaffirmed the role of the business community in driving environmental and social initiatives.

Over five years of organization, the program has proven its sustainability and has been highly appreciated by the international community. The success of the 5th Friendship Cycling Journey for a Green Hanoi continues to affirm Hanoi’s determination to build a green lifestyle, pursue sustainable development, and expand international exchanges.
