On July 31, 2025, the Green Transition Forum & Recycling Day 2025 took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was co-organized by the Association of Vietnamese High-Quality Products Enterprises (HVNCLC), the Business Studies and Assistance Center (BSA), and the Integration Standards Program. It brought together leading organizations, experts, and pioneering businesses committed to sustainable development.

The forum welcomed the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Publicity and Mass Mobilization.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized Ho Chi Minh City's strategic role in the green transition, with the long-term goal of becoming a livable city. He also reaffirmed the city's commitment to fostering innovation, improving the business environment, and facilitating enterprises’ adaptation to global standards in pursuit of a green, circular, and low-emission economy.
In alignment with this direction, the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA) participated in the event, represented by Chairman Dinh Hong Ky, along with members of the Executive Board and association members. Notably, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam - CEO of KLINOVA and a member of HGBA’s Executive Board – was also present, demonstrating HGBA’s commitment, and that of KLINOVA in particular, to supporting the green transition among local businesses.
The Forum opened with a thematic seminar titled "Green Transition in the New Context", which focused on Ho Chi Minh City’s roadmap toward green development by 2030. Private-sector enterprises - especially small and medium-sized ones - were highlighted as key drivers in this process.
Key discussion topics included: (1) PRO Vietnam’s strategic actions to promote recycling and the circular economy; (2) Business challenges in an increasingly VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world; and (3) Solutions to engage consumers in sustainable consumption.
As part of the program, the Forum also announced a support package titled "Activating the Green Transition: Raising Standards for Export Readiness" aimed at small businesses and green startups. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed to support green business transformation through training, market linkages, and financial access.
HGBA’s participation and contributions at the event reflected not only its commitment to the green agenda but also its role in bridging the business community with the broader sustainable development ecosystem, actively engaging in green transition initiatives.
