As global expectations around sustainable development and responsible business practices continue to rise, ESG is increasingly becoming a key requirement for Vietnamese enterprises seeking to strengthen competitiveness, integrate more deeply into global supply chains, and adapt to the green transition.
On May 20–21, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 70 representatives from businesses and associations participated in the training programme “ESG Practices and Green Productivity for Enterprises”, jointly organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The programme is part of the ILO’s Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work project in Viet Nam, supported by the Government of Norway and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

Notably, KLINOVA experts collaborated with Deloitte Vietnam in developing the programme content and delivering training sessions throughout the event.

During the programme, KLINOVA’s experts, including Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hue, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Huu Quynh Anh, shared practical insights on ESG and green productivity for Vietnamese enterprises. Key topics included ESG concepts and the Vietnamese ESG landscape; emerging market drivers and international requirements; analysis of the three ESG pillars - Environmental, Social, and Governance; ESG practices across industries; ESG assessment tools and standards; ESG data management and disclosure; materiality assessment; and the development of ESG roadmaps and strategies for businesses.

Beyond environmental considerations, the programme also emphasized that a truly sustainable green transition can only be achieved when workers are equipped with the necessary skills, provided with safe working conditions, and meaningfully engaged in workplace transformation processes. This foundation enables businesses to foster innovation, improve productivity, and sustain long-term growth.

Through this programme, KLINOVA continues to reinforce its role as a trusted partner for the business community, helping enterprises translate ESG principles and commitments into practical actions that generate long-term sustainable value.
