Representing the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA), Dr. Nguyễn Phương Nam – Executive Committee Member and CEO of KLINOVA – shared insights on the driving forces behind corporate green transition as well as the pioneering role of HGBA members. He emphasized the importance of integrating ESG standards into sustainable development strategies, while highlighting that SMEs should receive capacity-building, training, and technical consulting support from pioneering enterprises and their own successful case studies.
Dr. Nam further noted that businesses need to fully understand the essence of the “twin transition” – digital transformation for acceleration, green transformation for sustainability, and innovation as the key to success. In the current context, he stressed, there is no one-size-fits-all formula for implementing the twin transition.
Echoing this view, Mr. Nguyễn Đoàn Kết, Vice Chairman of the Board and Deputy General Director of Rạng Đông Light Source & Vacuum Flask JSC, remarked that each enterprise has different scales, resources, technological capabilities, and financial conditions. Therefore, they must design their own digitalization and greening roadmaps tailored to their capacities and industry characteristics.
