Training program on updating new policies and legal requirements associated with emission reduction and green transition goals

On September 26th, in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province, the Mekong Startup Forum 2024 Training Program took place. In the framework of the program,  under the theme “Updating Policies, Practicalities on Green - Sustainable Transition Trends & Identifying Key Issues for Dong Thap to Accompany and Pioneer the National Commitment Goals”, KLINOVA was honored to have Ms. Nguyen Minh Hue, Climate Change and Greenhouse Gas Inventory Expert, participated in the forum as a speaker.

The conference focus on discussing two main topics, including:

• Updates on policies and new legal requirements related to emission reduction and green transition goals for key sectors in the Mekong Delta and Dong Thap Province;

• Policy commentary & identification of key solutions, along with the roles and responsibilities of various levels, departments, districts, and sectors in the context of implementing new regulations and requirements.

The training event was an important opportunity for leaders and civil servants in Dong Thap Province to stay informed about the policy landscape and international developments in green - sustainable transition trends. It also addressed the challenges and tasks facing localities in the Mekong Delta. Furthermore, the event helped identify key breakthroughs, solutions, roles, and responsibilities of various levels and sectors in making Dong Thap a pioneering locality in emission reduction and green economy orientation.
