Voluntary Carbon Labeling in Vietnam event

11:27 | 14/03/2025
On 5th March, Ms Hue Nguyen, Project Director of KLINOVA, participated in the Voluntary Carbon Labeling in Vietnam event, organized by UNOPS, ETP and Department of Climate Change (MONRE).
This event brings together experts, businesses, and policymakers to discuss international carbon labeling schemes, best practices, and the pilot for implementation in Vietnam. Carbon labeling plays a crucial role in enhancing transparency, encouraging sustainable consumption, and strengthening businesses' competitiveness in global markets.

Many successful models from Europe and the USA have demonstrated how carbon labels can drive emissions reductions and promote greener supply chains. As Vietnam advances towards its net-zero by 2050 commitment, voluntary carbon labeling could be a game-changer for sustainable development. I look forward to engaging in insightful discussions and contributing to this important initiative.
