KLINOVA EXPERT GUIDES HUNRE STUDENTS ON GREENHOUSE GAS INVENTORY REPORTING
On November 11, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hue, Project Director at KLINOVA Climate Change Consultancy & Services, led a session at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) on how to build a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory report.
Ms. Hue provided an overview of GHG inventory reports, the key requirements, inventory methodologies, and result validation processes. She emphasized the importance of adhering to principles such as transparency, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and comparability in GHG inventory reporting. Students learned how to create sectoral and facility-level reports, from the implementation process to report structure and content writing. Ms. Hue shared practical report templates to help students better grasp and apply the concepts.
As climate change intensifies, the demand for effective GHG management and reporting is growing. By equipping students with GHG inventory skills, this training not only deepens their understanding of international standards and procedures but also opens up career opportunities in the environmental field. KLINOVA is proud to collaborate with HUNRE in raising awareness and preparing the next generation for a sustainable future.
