On March 26, the Mobilization Committee for the Establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA) gathered for a meeting, marking a crucial turning point in uniting pioneering firms committed to sustainable and eco-friendly business models in Ho Chi Minh City.
The draft charter, organizational structure, and action plan for HGBA in the 2025–2027 period were also presented and received strong consensus from attendees. According to the plan, the association will implement a series of initiatives to support businesses in their green transition, including:
The Mobilization Committee consists of experienced entrepreneurs and experts with an innovative mindset, leading the way in sustainable business practices. They are not only economic value creators but also pioneers in driving the green transition in the business community.
Speaking at the event, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association extended their congratulations and pledged their support for HGBA. Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Hòa, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, emphasized: "HGBA will serve as an extended arm of the city's business community in Implementing the Green Growth Strategy by 2030."
Notably, the event was also attended by Mr. Bùi Xuân Ban, Director of KLINOVA Southern Region, reflecting KLINOVA’s commitment to green and sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City and its support for businesses operating in the green sector.
