KLINOVA 2025 GHG Inventory Report Summary

Continuing our commitment to sustainable development and climate action, KLINOVA Climate Innovation Consulting & Services Joint Stock Company (KLINOVA) officially announces the results of our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory for the 2025.

1. General Information

  • Organizational Boundary: Hanoi Office (Operational Control approach).

  • Reporting Period: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.

  • Applied Standards: GHG Protocol Corporate Standard & ISO 14064-1:2018.

2. Key Results In 2025, KLINOVA's total GHG emissions amounted to 28.69 tCO₂e, marking an impressive 29.8% reduction compared to 2024 (40.90 tCO₂e). This result demonstrates the company's efficiency in direct emission management and supply chain optimization.

The emission structure by Scopes is as follows:

  • Scope 1 (Direct): 0.60 tCO₂e (2.08%), a significant 85.2% decrease due to improved refrigerant management.

  • Scope 2 (Energy Indirect): 7.56 tCO₂e (26.36%), a 60.2% increase reflecting expanded office operations.

  • Scope 3 (Value Chain): 20.53 tCO₂e (71.56%), an overall 36% decrease. Notably, while employee commuting emissions rose (+133.3%), business travel emissions saw a sharp decline (-64.8%).

3. Major Emission Sources Based on IPCC-linked analysis, four key sources account for 91.48% of KLINOVA's total carbon footprint: Employee Commuting, Purchased Electricity, Business Travel, and Capital Goods.

4. Future Action Plan To progress toward our carbon neutrality goals, KLINOVA has prioritized the following actions:

  • Encouraging the use of electric public transport and cycling for daily commuting.

  • Prioritizing virtual meetings and reducing air travel for business trips.

  • Scheduling regular HVAC maintenance to proactively monitor and prevent refrigerant leaks.

  • Purchasing Carbon Credit Certificates to offset Scope 2 emissions from electricity use.
