The event brought together government officials, business associations, and both domestic and international experts to promote green transformation in logistics and prepare for the upcoming FIATA 2025 Congress to be held in Vietnam.
Dr. Nam Nguyen, CEO of KLINOVA, participated in the event, affirming KLINOVA’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s green transition
across all sectors, including logistics.
Speaking at the forum, Mr. Phạm Tấn Công, Chairman of VCCI, emphasized: “Developing green logistics is one of the key tasks assigned to the Vietnamese logistics business community, including the VLA. Green logistics is not just a trend, but an inevitable requirement for Vietnamese enterprises during international economic integration.”
From a business leader’s perspective, Mr. Đào Trọng Khoa – Chairman of the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) VLA – emphasized that green logistics is no longer optional, but a necessary requirement for Vietnamese logistics enterprises. Without a timely transition, he warned, companies risk being excluded from global supply chains due to increasingly stringent regulations and technical barriers related to sustainability.
From a policy and regulatory perspective, Mr. Trần Thanh Hải, Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), noted: “The transition to green logistics not only helps enterprises enhance competitiveness but also contributes to brand building and fulfilling Vietnam’s commitments to the international community.”
The forum also marked a critical first step toward FIATA World Congress 2025, scheduled for October in Hanoi, with the theme “Green and Resilient Logistics.” The congress is expected to host over 1,200 delegates from more than 150 countries and territories, focusing on green transition, supply chain optimization, and multilateral connectivity. This will be a key opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its growing role in the global logistics sector.
More than a discussion platform, the forum reinforced Vietnam’s commitment to sustainable logistics and laid the groundwork for the effective organization of the FIATA 2025 Congress.
