On April 11, KLINOVA attended a discussion session within the framework of the Business Conference on green transformation and finance towards Net-zero emissions by 2050. The workshop was organized by the Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VBCSD/VCCI) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In order to provide information about policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, technology solutions, and financial initiatives to help businesses reach the goal of carbon neutrality, the conference includes 3 main parts: International practices of green finance for facilitating the private sector in GHG reporting and reduction efforts; experiences with green finance to incentivize climate actions; discussion and conclusion.

At the Conference, the presentations of speakers and representatives of typical businesses showed the Vietnamese Government’s continuous efforts to create a more favorable policy environment, with regulations guiding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions continuing to be updated, future prospects, and the efforts of the business sector in reducing greenhouse gas emissions are shown through specific examples.
From Net Zero commitment to strong action can be a long and challenging journey, requiring the participation of the entire political system. Businesses are keenly aware that green transformation, developing and implementing low-emission production and business models requires a lot of commitment and investment of resources.
