Took place over two days, March 25–26, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 10th Asia Summit on Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy Transition 2026 – Vietnam Focus is one of the premier international conferences in the field of environment and clean energy in Southeast Asia.

This year's conference attracted over 400 delegates, including industry leaders, experts, and businesses from many countries, creating a multi-dimensional connection forum between the public and private sectors as Vietnam emerges as a key market for waste treatment and green energy development. Given its large scale and high international nature, the event plays a crucial role in promoting investment cooperation, technology transfer, and experience sharing in the region.

The conference focused on core themes such as: policy and strategy for waste-to-energy (WtE) development in Vietnam; solutions for treating urban and industrial waste; waste-to-energy conversion technologies like waste incineration for power generation, gasification, and pyrolysis; as well as investment and financing models for bio-energy projects and the circular economy. Furthermore, in-depth discussion sessions also addressed environmental issues and emission reduction in the context of the energy transition in Southeast Asia.

A highlight of the event was the gathering of international experiences, along with research and practical projects in the WtE, biogas, and biomass sectors, providing a platform for stakeholders to discuss opportunities and challenges in developing waste treatment infrastructure in Vietnam. More than just a professional forum, the conference also opened up opportunities for strategic cooperation between businesses, investors, and regulatory agencies to accelerate the transition to a green economy and sustainable development.

KLINOVA also made its appearance at the event with the presence of Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, the company's General Director, as a speaker in the discussion session on "Waste-to-Energy as a Green Transition Opportunity for Businesses in Vietnam: Insights from Industry Case Studies". In his presentation, he emphasized the potential of waste-to-energy technology as a vital solution in the process of decarbonization and promoting green transition in Vietnam. Besides analyzing the potential and opportunities for businesses, he also pointed out several case studies conducted by KLINOVA related to greenhouse gas inventories, developing monitoring-reporting emission systems, and supporting businesses in preparing to participate in the carbon market.

Through these professional contributions, KLINOVA at the workshop not only demonstrated its capacity for consulting and implementing climate solutions in practice but also contributed to promoting the connection between policy, business, and the market in the process of transitioning to a sustainable development model.
